Hawkeye's Polishing Powders
Hawkeye’s SnJ Polishing Powders are finely ground metal particles which can be used for buffing natural metal finishes and weathering painted surfaces. When used as a buffing medium, they enhance the sheen and luster of SnJ Spray Metal and Talon Acrylic Paints. They can also be used effectively with paints from other manufacturers.
Hawkeye's Polishing Powders used as a weathering medium provide a realistic exhaust stain and gun barrel residue.

Mix it up!
Hawkeye's Polishing Powders can be mixed with the various colors of our SnJ and Talon paints or with other colors of our Polishing Powders to create a diverse palette of tones and shades of NMF surfaces.
Application can be achieved with a soft cloth (old T-Shirt works great!), a Q-Tip (cotton swab) or a foam make-up applicator. Buffing can be accomplished again with a soft cloth or by using a rotary tool with either a cotton or felt buffing wheel. Caution!
If you elect to use the mechanical advantage of a rotary tool, be sure to keep the speed slow and the wheel moving. Do not concentrate in one spot or the plastic will build up too much heat, damaging the paints finish or the plastic itself.
